GARRY SWAINE, TWOTWOFIVE ASIA
Garry worked for over 30 years in Oil and Gas with BP. He began his career as a process engineer before moving into Supply and held a number of roles over a 12 year period focusing on commercial optimization of the Refining and Supply chains. Garry spent 11 years as the Head of Crude Trading for BP Singapore’s Supply and Trading business. He was accountable for all crude oil trading activities in a region spanning from the Middle East, South Asia, SE Asia, China and North Asia which included the commercial marketing of BP equity crudes and crude and feedstock optimization for BP’s regional refinery asset base. In 2012, Garry turned his attention towards leading the L&D activities for BP’s Supply and Trading business in Singapore, developing the business talent pool in both Technical and Leadership competencies. Garry was key member of BP’s Leadership team from 2002 to 2015.

JEFFREY BLUM, INTERLINK INTERNATIONAL TRADING
Lecturer with over 30 years’ experience in shipbroking, chartering, ship operations, insurance, physical and derivatives trading. The lecturer has combined shipping and trading backgrounds and a profound understanding of crude and refined products trading environment and challenges faced by traders. The lecturer has provided training and consultancy services for tanker owners, oil majors, oil traders, Protection and Indemnity clubs, shipbrokers and law firms. Jeffrey is Fellow of Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and Chairman of one of its branches.

More than 19 years experience in trading of crude oil, refined products and derivatives. Currently at Fuel Trader at Arcadia Petroleum, earlier has worked at Tradition, Freepoint Commodities, Mercuria Energy Trading, Sempra Energy Trading, Crown Resources AG

NIGEL HARRIS, KINGSTON ENERGY CONSULTING 
Nigel’s first contribution to energy trading was in the design and development of decision support software for oil traders in the late 1980s. For over ten years, Nigel worked closely with traders, mainly in the USA, to bring analysis of market prices and fundamental data to their desktops, and to develop analysis for new instruments and new markets, such as options, swaps and natural gas. He subsequently worked as an independent consultant, providing assistance on a project basis to oil and gas trading companies and to energy market information and trading software providers in Europe and the Americas, before forming Kingston Energy Consulting with Mary Jackson in 2002, they run courses for traders together with Oxford Princeton. He has an MA and a PhD in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.

JENNI LAJZEROWICZ, SUTHERLAND
Jenni Lajzerowicz is a partner in Sutherland London office. She is an energy and commodities specialist with extensive experience in handling large-scale, multi-jurisdictional disputes in arbitration, litigation and mediation. Jenni’s practice encompasses oil and gas across the supply chain, from extraction to downstream sales and transport, natural resources and commodity trading (in both the physicals and futures markets), gas sale and purchase, biomass and biofuels, power purchasing, power plant generation and supply, shipping and transport, and banking and documentary credits. In upstream oil and gas, Jenni has represented oil companies involved in sizeable disputes arising under joint operating agreement, PSAs, technical assistance agreements, offshore EPC contracts and onshore energy construction contracts (including variation and delay claims), and related project documentation. She has also handled disputes between operators, contractors/sub-contractors and offshore oil services companies on offshore oil projects.

VLADIMIR KURIYANOV, INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT
Vladimir’s most recent positions is Assistant Vice-President Chartering & Business Development in American Eagle Tankers, he worked there from 2008 to 2017. His previous positions include Chartering and Operations Manager at Eurasia Oil Services, Marbase Trading, Winton Line Limited, Morline Limited, Rosnefteimpex (Rosneft), Sovbunker, where he was involved in chartering, trading operations, demurrage claims handling for the whole range of parcels from 3 000-15 000 mt to suezmax and VLCC tankers. He covered crude and oil products markets in the Atlantic basin, including ex Murmansk, North Sea, Baltic Sea, Mediterranean, Marmara and Black Sea, West Africa, USAC, and also ex AG, Japan and South Korea to worldwide.
